It is called speed mentoring and Study girls love the concept!
Speed Mentoring is a creative way The Study hopes to help senior school students be comfortable at networking with professionals. Done with the assistance of ten Study alumnae who returned to meet grade 10 and 11 girls for a marathon of ten-minute interviews about what to expect after they get out into “the real world.”
The mentors, all Study alumnae, represented various graduating classes. They brought diverse careers to their side of the table including; law, medicine, marketing and performing arts to name a few. The Study students brought their enthusiasm, aspirations and questions. But they had to make it quick before the 10-minute bell rang. This was repeated five times, so each student had the opportunity to meet with at least five of their pre-selected mentors.
